I have taught Spanish at Tyler since September 2002.  My first experience at Tyler was teaching Spanish to fourth and fifth graders.  I currently teach Spanish to students in first through fifth grade. 
     Prior to coming to Tyler I worked in a variety of educational settings which included both teaching and supervisory positions.  I have found that all of these experiences have given me a good understanding of students and how they learn.
     My goal as your child's Spanish teacher is to help him/her feel successful at learning a foreign language.  It is my sincere hope that my students will pursue a foreign language in middle school and succeed.
